They say one of the best beauty secrets is to apply fake eye lashes if you want to draw attention to your eyes.  It takes a lot of discipline to put on fake eye lashes every day, which wouldn't apply to the average woman.  In fact, eye doctors are now warning that using eyelash extensions may cause permanent lash damage.  When repeated use of eyelash extensions  are used, it can cause a condition called Traction Alopecia, which is when the hair falls out due to excessive tension placed on the hair shaft.   The hair follicle slows its production down, and may even cease the production of hair.   In addition the bonding agents and glues can be irritants to the eye through out the time they are worn.  Just like any product that is applied to the skin, false eyelash adhesive is touching the skin around the eye.  To open ones self up to potential eye damage or blindness in severe cases is rather a silly cost to gamble with.
