Queen Helene Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Cream, 15-Ounce Jar (Pack of 6) $19
If your hair is dry and damaged from too many chemical treatments, over-processing, sun exposure or blow-drying consider Queen Helene Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Cream which is designed to restore extremely-damaged hair. This product is perfect to use weekly to keep your hair conditioned, and in a healthy state. It can be used before or after a normal shampoo and washes out easily.
The Queen blends Cholesterol with Aloe and Keratin Amino Acid Protein to deep condition over-stressed hair. Keratin is the key structural material making up the outer layer of human skin. It is also the key structural component of hair and nails. The only other biological matter known to be as tough as keratin is the tissue is chitin. Cells in the epidermis contain a structural matrix of keratin, which makes this outermost layer of the skin almost waterproof, and along with collagen and elastin, gives skin its strength.
The Queen blends also blends cholesterol which contains lipoproteins which has a combination of fats and proteins. Hair lipids are made up of fatty acids which provide shine to the hair shaft. Cholesterol contain lipids that the hair needs if it is damaged.
As I discussed in the ORS Review, my hair began falling out from over processing my hair and I found the only thing that restored my hair was the Cholesterol deep conditioner, by Queen Helene . Having chemically striped my hair, my hair started falling out in handfuls. I desperately tried everything, but it made it worse. This product was suggested to me by a hair dresser and it stopped the hair loss, and restored it from a dry brittle straw state to eventually soft hair even with bounce.
Queen Helene has been a brand that has been around for 75 years. Richard Estrin who founded the brand began as a beauty supply house salesman. Estrin wanted to expand his brands, so he obtained a degree in Chemistry. He then used his knowledge and partnered with Para Laboratories, a small cosmetics laboratory. Mr. Estrin was then able to create a line of hair and skin care products which then successfully launched in beauty salons. Today the brand is well known in both drug stores, supermarkets and wholesale beauty supplies. Queen Helene produces over 100 different products for the face, body, feet, hair and scalp. Some of his products have been used since the early 1930s.
Queen Helene has also introduced a Naturals line which uses organic and Fair Trade Certified ingredients. The Naturals products use only vegetarian ingredients and do not contain Parabens, Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates, Mineral Oil, Lanolin or Petrolatum.

Nicole-SC, South Carolina - Queen Helene Cholesterol hair Conditioning Cream- This product is great for damaged hair. I have had bad perms and bad die jobs and this product is the only product that revitalizes and rejuvenates my hair. It works even better when you apply the product and sit under a hooded dryer for about 10-15 minutes. Any life that is lost from your hair will be gained again once you use this product. It makes your hair super strong. I recommend using it at least once a week! You're hair will love it!
By by mizzpeachezz, Memphis, TN Queen Helene Cholesterol hair Conditioning Cream- Nothing beats!Rated 5 out of 5 I was introduced to cholesterol by beautician over 20 years ago. I started ... Nothing beats! I started using this to get salon results. Over the years I've tried many others, new, hi-tech, fancy, high priced, but this low cost simple formula works best for my very dry ultra thick kinky hair and sensitive scalp. A plastic cap and/or hair dryer really intensify treatment. Occasionally, I combine with a botanical oil, to get that $75 salon deep condition experience.
By TransformersGirl, Denver, CO- Queen Helene Cholesterol hair Conditioning Cream -I tried this for my very bleach blonde hair to try and restore it to normal, but after one treatment no improvements were made so this stuff takes several uses. Easy to use, wet hair--lather in hair well, place in shower cap and leave it for 30min. For really dry hair I would use this treatment a couple times a week, and remember not to shampoo this out. Smells kinda funky, I wish they would add in a fruit scent or something, but its not an overwhelming smell at least. One tub will last a long time so for the price it is a great investment. More efficient than the one time use hot-oils.
By DUKES1, Queen Helene Cholesterol hair Conditioning Cream- Rated 5 out of 5 YES THIS PRODUCT IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST... BUT USED WITH IT\'S SISTER THE Q.H. CHOSLESTEROL W\/ GINSENG IS 100%BETTER THAN THIS FORMULA. THE ONE WITH GINSENG MAKES THE HAIR SWING ALL OVER THE PLACE THIS FORMULA JUST STRENGTHENS THE HAIR SHAFT. SO THE 2 ARE VERY DIFFERENT FROM ONE ANOTHER. THIS ONES A KEEPER THOUGH
By Hairjunkie, Minneapolis, Queen Helene Cholesterol hair Conditioning Cream- AWESOME!!! Rated 5 out of 5 Let me just say that this is the best conditioning cream I have ever used. I have multi-racial hair; black ,white and native American. My hair is crazy! I have relaxed it in the past so it\'s very damaged. After one use of this product my hair was so much softer and shinier it wasn\'t even funny. It\'s also extremely cheap for how much you get of it. A must have!!! Also, when I flat iron my hair it doesn\'t get frizzy throughout the day.
By Abby, Ohio- Great Product!- Queen Helene Cholesterol hair Conditioning CreamRated 5 out of 5 I dye my hair a lot. I used to dye it blonde and am gradually going back to brown now. As you can imagine, my hair is pretty destroyed. This product has made my hair softer, healthier and shinier. I am extremely happy about this! When I use it, I leave it on for 30 min. and then rinse and put my normal conditioner on (bc I like the smell better).
