How To Straighten Your Hair Without Flat Irons For Natural Beauty

Every woman at one point of her life has noticed some sort of reaction to the harsh chemicals either on the skin or in the hair.  Sadly, after buying a deep hair conditioner sold on the shelf in my local Target caused my hair to fall out, that today organic is the only way I go.  The fact is, that when you use dozens of chemicals in your shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and styling products, it will cause damage over time.  Pair that with blow dryers, and electric curling irons and straighteners and you have hair that snaps, and breaks off just from brushing.  You can have the natural beauty of curly or straight styles without damaging your hair.  There are better options to incorporate into your daily routine that will allow you to have that stunning straight hair style.

Oil treatments can be a method that nourishes and moisturizes your hair, making it straighter and stronger in the long run.   You can do this simply by heating a little oil, either coconut or olive and apply it on the scalp. Wrap a hot towel on your head and leave it for a period of time.  The hot oil treatments sold in your local stores often contain chemicals.  When the plastic tube is heated, the plastic also finds it's way into the oil and on to your hair.  Natural organic oils can go a LONG way to soften your hair without the price tag and the chemicals.  Wash your hair after having the oil work through your hair and you will find it smooth, straighter and glossy.

Taren describes how she naturally straightens her hair with rollers, without using a hair dryer and flat iron.  She describes how her hair is able to be strong and moisturized simply by spending the extra time using roller sets.

Velcro rollers can be great.  For some women they do not stay in the hair, while others have no problems with them.  You can buy roller clips which we listed below that can assist the rollers to stay-put in the hair while your hair is setting.

A few of the most commonly used hair rollers are the hard rollers with the holes on the side, velcro hair rollers, sponge hair rollers, and small rollers with clips.

How to Sleep in Rollers:

Under no circumstances, should you sleep in hard hair rollers  In fact, ANY type of rollers kept in the hair over night will cause your hair to fall out as you move around.  At night, only roll the top of your hair in rollers.  This works because the crown never touches the pillow for the most part.  In the morning simply roll the rest of your hair as you get up, and by the time you are ready to walk out the door your hair should be set.  Taking the chance of sleeping in rollers, and having your hair fall out over months is not a risk any woman should take.  Over time the damage will be seen.

Velcro rollers are fantastic for thick hair, while plastic rollers work well for or damaged hair.  Using jumbo rollers often don't create much of a curl, but give volume to the hair.  A roller that is midsized will give you a slight curl, and the smallest rollers will give the most curl.  Using hair spray or gel or mousse while the hair is damp will give the hair more of a curl.
